My name is Kate LaRocque, and I’m a Canadian Certified Counsellor offering online therapy to adults in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Newfoundland/Labrodor, Yukon Territories, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut.

Specialties

I am passionate about helping individuals with sexual concerns, especially female sexual problems, to understand, improve, and enjoy their sexuality. In fact, my master’s project was a guide for Albertan women seeking help for sexual problems, available at FemaleSexualProblems.ca. I also enjoy working with both current and former members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Issues

We can work together on a variety of concerns, including sexual issues, anxiety, health anxiety, depression, grief, boundaries, career transitions, emotional regulation, interpersonal issues, and more. The frequency, content, and length of your sessions will be tailored according to your presenting concerns, specific needs, and personal style.

Qualifications

I have a Bachelor of Education and a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology and I am a Professional Member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, possessing a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) designation. I am also a founding member of the International Board of Sexuality Professionals, a Certified Sexologist through the American Board of Sexology, a member of the Alberta Society for the Promotion of Sexual Health (ASPSH), and a member the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH). Click here to check out my CV.
